taking submissions for the 10th annual Heart of
Texas Quadruple Bypass Music Festival a.k.a. Texas
Rockfest.
This year holds many surprises with blasts from
the past who went on to be superstars, new artists
from all over the globe, and some of the best music
Austin and the great state of Texas have to offer.
There are two ways to apply this year: A standard
$25 submission fee (we will be accepting submissions
until January 18, 2009)and, if you are an indie
label or a band and want a GUARANTEED slot(s), you
might be interested in purchasing an evening or
night-time showcase(s) on one of our pro outdoor

for you. The Texas Rockfest
is celebrating its 10th year,
and we are proud to have hosted
artists like Blue October, Bob
Schneider, Ghostland Observatory,
Tom Morello, just to name a
few. With nearly 800 participating
artists from 27 different countries,
and over 10 years of operation,
we have earned a reputation
of doing it bigger and better
every year. This year, the festival
will showcase more then 200
bands, solo performers and DJs
on one of our 6 stages on 6th
Street. Texas Rockfest does
ALL THIS FOR FREE. That's
right, no wristbands, no stinking
badges. Over the past 10 years,
some of the hottest up-and-coming
acts in the world have been
showcased by Texas Rockfest
. As a result, we has received
media attention from all over
the world and a reputation for
being the only alternative to
the Other Guys. We look forward
to hearing your music and possibly
seeing you rock out in 2009.
